The club is organising a bike fit with Aidan Hammond for January 27th for its members.

Correct bike fit increases both your efficiency and comfort while out cycling and can also ease the transition to running during a race. A few small changes to your position can bring a surprisingly large improvement.

We have reached the minimum number of 7 people to run this event, so we have confirmed this with Aidan.

There are still some places left, so fill in the form below to book your place.

Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis

Cost is €70 for a road bike €85 for a TT bike or road bike with TT bars. €40 for a 2nd bike on the day.

Each rider gets a full hour. 30 mins with Michelle (Physical Therapist, Level 2 Cycling Ireland Coach and Tutor and former international rider) who checks their core and flexibility, measures them up, and goes through their cycling and injury history and goals.
They then spend 30 mins with Aidan on the turbo where he checks hip movements, knee angles, torso angles and arm and hand position when cycling, and he will do a couple of simple tests with them on the bike. Aidan makes whatever changes are needed, each rider is emailed a sheet with their bike measurements before and after and any recommendations. Aidan will also check shoe and cleat set up.

Aidan bring stems, cleats and saddles with him if a rider wants them on the day at a basic cost.
