3D Club Training Weekend 2019 – 9 & 10 March 2019

The weekend training will be two and half days of short multi-discipline sessions to suit all abilities.

The finalised timetable will be advised in advance of the course.

Friday 8th March Introduction Evening
  • Arrive at the venue, brief introduction and welcome followed by a easy flat run to socialise.
Saturday 9th March
  • Aerobic Pool Swim - drills and techniques - pacing for 1 - 2 hours (maybe 2 separate groups)
  • Lunch
  • Nutrition talk
  • Bike - Turbo Class - Drills & Training intensities
  • Break
  • Core and Stretching
  • Recovery run to finish the day
Sunday 10th March
  • Cycle to Athletic track for run session
  • Lunch
  • Talk on race preparation and tapering
  • Transition Practice
  • Mini Duathlon (Run/Cycle/Run) to finish
  • Conclusion
  • Dinner and a few drinks
