Trial Sessions

Anyone considering joining the club can try out one swim, one bike and one run session before signing up.

It is necessary to get in contact with hello@3dtri.ie beforehand to confirm with the coach and to ensure you are covered by the insurance.

Costs

3D Triathlon Club Membership, along with the full racing licence with Triathlon Ireland, is the most popular option for annual membership.

Triathlon Ireland also offer the option of club training insurance. As our club insurance is through Triathlon Ireland you must at a minimum purchase the TI club training insurance (€30) in order to participate in the club training sessions (apart from our tryout sessions). If you are not yet sure about entering races, this TI club training licence can be upgraded to the full TI race licence later in the year and you only pay the balance amount.

Membership of 3D Triathlon Club until 31st December 2024 is €75. The TI full racing licence costs €79 or club training membership only €30 so typically an individual will pay €154 for 3D Triathlon Club and full TI membership or €105 for 3D Triathlon club and TI club training membership until the end of 2024.

Training sessions are either free, or kept to a minimal, e.g. coached swim classes (see our coaches page) or coached run sessions.
